Group Evaluation (The Cost Of Living Inspiration Performance)

 Group Evaluation: 

On the 24th of September we performed a group piece which was inspired by a DV8 Physical Theatre group, based at Artsadmin in London , United Kingdom, is a physically integrated dance company. It was established officially by Lloyd Newson, Michelle Richecoeur and Nigel Charnock in 1986. Since its inception, Lloyd Newson has led the company as choreographer and artistic director.

Feedback/Review:

• Clear message and good delivery
• Teamwork
• Transition of scenes
• Use of props (costume- 'coat' to represent power or change of social status)
• Spatial Awareness
• Switch of social status
• Energy used into creating the noise to show jealously between characters 

EBI:

• More exaggeration (emotions and body language)
• Less dialogue
• Use of tone for the spoilt brat

Next Step:

• Research more ideas about the emotions or objective for each character
• Lighting and music to highlight the social status between the characters (Build a more deep relationship between the audience and the characters.) also using a spotlight to show power of the roles.
